The passion and inspiration
After 9 years of dedicated practice in the craft, opening my own shop has always been a dream. Working in various environments over the years has allowed me to refine my mindset, focusing on what truly matters in barbering and customer service. Consideration, relaxation and awareness have always been the ultimate goals. Ensuring clients want to continue to keep finding that one hour in their day to come, relax and have a chat.
With a passion for barbering and a lifelong fascination with the fashion world, blended with a blue-collar appreciation, I've always wanted to create a space where people feel free to express themselves in a modern world with an old-school appreciation.
Meet the founder: Hunter Davis
I am Hunter Davis, The founder of Spur & Stone, and I have been honing my skills in the barber trade for the past 9 years. Growing up, I always found joy in creativity, whether it was at the skate park, in the snow park, or choosing my daily fit. The mantra was always: "look good, feel good, play good."
My interest in history and latter on hair, led me to be fascinated by the traditional ways of the craft and the evolution of men's hairstyles and seeking constant education to follow the industry. Beyond the barber chair, I enjoy tinkering with house projects and spending time outdoors, whether it's riding my bike or going camping. This blend of traditional craft, personal expression, and a love for the outdoors defines the spirit of Spur & Stone.
